Program Director & Founder
Building Greatness, Inc. was founded by Christina Steele. Christina has a background in ABA therapy since early 2013 and has been working in related fields with individuals suffering from development and psychiatric disorders since 2010. Some of the environments Christina has worked in include the following: camps, group homes, memory care facilities, therapy centers, schools, and day programs.
Christina has a Bachelors of Art degree from St. Cloud State University in Psychology and Community Psychology, a Masters of Science degree in Criminal Behavior from Tiffin University, and is currently completing her Doctoral Degree in Psychology at NorthCentral University.
A RBT is a paraprofessional who practices under close supervision of a BCaBA, BCBA, or BCBA-D. The RBT primary responsibility is the implementation of the behavioral-analytic services. RBT’s hold a certification that is received after they complete a 40-hour training, complete a background check, pass the RBT Competency, and pass the RBT Examination.
A BT is a paraprofessional who practices under close supervision of a BCaBA, BCBA, or BCBA-D. The BT primary responsibility is the implementation of the behavioral-analytic services. BT’s do not hold a certification with the BACB. A background check must be passed and 40 hour training is required. BT’s are required to complete requirements of the RBT and. become certified within a specified period of time.
Staff at Building Greatness
All of our staff at Building Greatness Autism Center are trained individuals who have to complete a training program that involves: classroom work, observation, and hands on experience. Staff must complete this training before they beginning 1:1 therapy with individuals.
